Turkey reports 17,332 new coronavirus cases, 255 deaths

255 more people have died due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 56,213, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 6,346,881 after 17,332 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 633 patients are in critical condition, at least 5,809,710 patients suffering from the disease have recovered and been discharged from the hospital.

At least 75,857,048 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
