Turkey’s confirmed coronavirus cases rise by 18,622: Health Ministry

206 more people have died due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 54,533, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 6,215,663, after 18,622 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 543 patients are in critical condition, 5,708,549 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from the hospital.

At least 73,815,446 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
