Turkey reports 19,351 new coronavirus cases, 232 deaths

232 more people have died due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 54,327, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 6,197,041 after 19,351 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 633 patients are in critical condition, at least 5,682,123 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

At least 73,267,393tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
