Turkey’s confirmed coronavirus cases rise by 11,094: Health Ministry

60 more people have died due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 50,821, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 5,574,997, after 11,094 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 543 patients are in critical condition, 5,410,554 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

More than 65,918,377 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
