Turkey reports 9,375 new coronavirus cases, 175 deaths

175 more people have died due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 46,621, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 5,203,385, after 9,375 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,667 patients are in critical condition, 5,045,508 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

More than 52,817,437 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
