In the message, the foundation urged all Muslims to pray for the salvation of all oppressed Muslims, especially Jerusalem during Laylat al-Qadr, which is considered to be the Holiest night in the Islamic calendar.

The message, which was read by Cengiz Aydın, one of the spokesmen for the foundation, began by stating “All praise be to Allah” and sending peace and blessings upon the Prophet, his family, and all his companions.
Aydın quoted Surah Al-Qadr in the Holy Quran that says, “Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree. And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.”
“The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, ‘Whoever establishes Optional Night Salah on the night of Qadr (Night of power) in sincere faith and hoping for Allah's Reward, Allah shall erase his previous sins,’” Aydın added.
“Praise be to Allah, who has led us Muslims to the night of Qadr, which is better than 1,000 months. The night of Qadr marks a turning point in the guidance of humanity with the revelation of the Qur'an, which is the final address and final message of Allah to the people through our Prophet. We must pray for the salvation of all oppressed Muslims, especially Jerusalem, who have been oppressed, victimized, whose property and home have been invaded and pillaged, who have been subjected to hunger, thirst, and humiliation, whose most sacred values have been trampled upon in every corner of the world. We must raise our hand to our Lord tonight and pray for the Muslims, who have become enemies of one another because of their simple worldly interests and differences, to reach unity again. As the Prophet Lover Foundation, we wish all Muslims to observe this blessed night, which is worth a lifetime, in the most auspicious way, and we greet our nation and the Islamic world on this Night of Qad,” Aydın concluded.
What is Laylat al-Qadr?
Laylat al-Qadr variously rendered in English as the Night of Decree, Night of Power, Night of Value, Night of Destiny, or Night of Measures, is, in Islamic belief, the night when the Quran was first sent down from Heaven to the world and also the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
According to many Muslim sources, it was one of the odd-numbered nights of the last ten days of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.
Since that time, Muslims have regarded the last ten nights of Ramadan as being especially blessed. Muslims believe that the Night of Qadr comes with blessings and mercy of Allah in abundance, sins are forgiven, supplications are accepted, and that the annual decree is revealed to the angels who carry it out according to what Allah ordained.
