Turkey reports 24,733 new coronavirus cases, 347 deaths

347 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 41,191, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 4,900,121, after 24,733 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 3,438 patients are in critical condition, 4,515,819 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

More than 47,987,986 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
