According to local sources, a large number of zionist troops stormed Beita town and started firing live ammunition and tear gas grenades at local youths, who threw homemade firebombs and stones at military vehicles.
The ZOF also stormed several businesses and homes and confiscated security camera recordings from them.
Local sources said that the ZOF closed the Huwara crossing and prevented ambulances from entering the town to provide medical assistance for the wounded.
They added that the ZOF also intensified its presence at different entrances to Nablus City, obstructed traffic as local citizens were going home to have their sunset Iftar meals and embarked on searching vehicles and passengers.
Meanwhile, many citizens suffered from rubber bullet and tear gas injuries when zionist soldiers and settlers stormed Jalud town in southern Nablus.
Jalud mayor Abdullah Hajj Mohamed explained that a horde of settlers stormed the eastern area of the town and tried to kidnap a local child before smashing the windows of a parked car belonging to a local resident.
He said that local residents confronted the settlers and clashed with them before soldiers showed up and provided protection for the settlers.
The mayor also said that the soldiers physically assaulted many citizens and intensively fired rubber bullets at others, injuring many of them, adding that soldiers occupied the rooftops of some homes and prevented citizens from reaching swaths of agricultural land after settlers set fire to them.
For his part, local official Ghassan Daghlas said that a horde of settlers from the illegal outpost of Ahiya set ablaze large tracts of agricultural land in the eastern area of Jalud. (ILKHA)
