Turkey reports 37,674 new coronavirus cases, 339 deaths

339 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 39,737, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 4,788,700, after 37,674 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 3,581 patients are in critical condition, 4,255,714 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

More than 46,996,712 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
