Turkey’s coronvirus death toll rises to 31,537

152 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 31,537, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 3,317,182, after 39,302 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 2,082 patients are in critical condition, 3,014,226 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

More than 38,578,057 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
