Turkey records 29,081 daily confirmed cases of COVID-19

153 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 30,772, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Friday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 3,061,520, after 29,081 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,810 patients are in critical condition, 2,921,037 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

At least 37,433,913 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
