Turkey’s coronavirus death toll rises to 29,777

81 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 29,777, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,950,603, after 20,049 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,503 patients are in critical condition, 2,770,638 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

More than 35,435,502 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
