Non-domestic producer price index (ND-PPI) decreased by 1.37% monthly and by 1.37% in December of the previous year, increased by 32.51% on the same month of the previous year, and by 24.58% on the twelve months moving averages basis in January 2021, according to the statement.
Manufacturing increased by 32.49% annually
ND-PPI in two main sectors of industry increased by 33.07% for mining and quarrying, by 32.49% for manufacturing compared with the previous year.
The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 34.99% for intermediate goods, by 37.09% for durable consumer goods, by 31.29% for non-durable consumer goods, decreased by 4.49% for energy, increased by 30.90% for capital goods, annually.
Manufacturing decreased by 1.35% monthly
ND-PPI in two main sectors of the industry decreased by 2.42% for mining and quarrying, by 1.35% for manufacturing compared with the previous month.
The indices of main industrial groups; decreased by 1.11% for intermediate goods, by 2.03% for durable consumer goods, by 2.13% for non-durable consumer goods, increased by 6.94% for energy, decreased by 2.21% for capital goods, monthly.
The only annual decrease was in coke and refined petroleum products by 4.49%
The only rate of annual decrease in ND-PPI by subdivisions of the industry was for coke and refined petroleum products by 4.49%. On the other hand, the highest rates of the annual increase in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were for other manufactured goods by 45.65%, for basic metals by 42.17%, for computer, electronic and optical products by 37.86%.
The highest monthly decrease was in other transport equipment by 4.20%
The highest rates of monthly decrease in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were for other transport equipment by 4.20%, for other manufactured goods by 3.83%, for other non-metallic mineral products by 3.30%. On the other hand, the highest rates of monthly increase in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were for coke and refined petroleum products by 6.94%, for tobacco products by 4.53%, for chemicals and chemical products by 1.05%.
