Mexico reports 1,329 new deaths from coronavirus

1,329 more people have died from coronavirus in Mexico, rising the country’s death toll to 175,986, according to the Health Ministry.

The number of infections has been 2,004,575, an increase of 8,683 cases in the last 24 hours.

1,563,992 people suffering from the disease have been discharged from hospital after being cured.

Mexico is the country with the fourth-highest coronavirus death toll, with only the US, Brazil, and India recording greater numbers. (ILKHA)
