Turkey’s coronavirus death toll rises to 27,562

91 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 27,562, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,594,128, after 7,945 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,232 patients are in critical condition, 2,482,435 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

More than 31,633,171 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
