Turkey records 7,706 daily confirmed cases of COVID-19

93 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 27,377, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,579,896, after 7,706 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,235 patients are in critical condition, 2,468,419 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

More than 31,412,611 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
