Turkey reports 129 new coronavirus-related deaths in the last 24 hours

129 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 25,865 Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,470,901, after 6,871 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,692 patients are in critical condition, 2,355,409 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

29,495,004 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
