Turkey’s coronavirus death toll rises to 24,328

167 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 24,328, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,399,781, after 6,818 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 2,162 patients are in critical condition, 2,277,987 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

27,698,556 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
