Turkey’s death toll from COVID-19 reaches 23,664

169 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 23,664, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Friday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,373,115, after 8,134 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 2,311 patients are in critical condition, 2,246,047 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

27,066,653 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
