Turkey’s coronavirus death toll rises to 22,070

191 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 22,070, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,283,931, after 13,830 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 3,303 patients are in critical condition, 2,164,040 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

25,498,210 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
