Turkey reports 202 new deaths from COVID-19

202 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 21,295, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,232,035, after 11,180 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 3,764 patients are in critical condition, 2,126,432 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

24,811,888 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
