The number of coronavirus infections rises 2,208,652 in Turkey

239 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 20,881, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,100,650, after 14,380 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 3,918 patients are in critical condition, 2,100,650 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

24,504,567 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
