Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus rises to 20,135

257 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 20,135, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,162,775, after 15,197 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 4,251 patients are in critical condition, 2,037,433 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

23,958,818 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
