Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus rises to 14,705

Turkey has reported 196 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 14,705, the country’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

According to the statement, the number of patients rose to 533,198, after 6,128 more people were hospitalized with COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 5,800 patients are in critical condition, 427,242 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

19,517,084 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
