Turkey reports 188 new deaths from COVID-19

Turkey has reported 188 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 13,746, the country’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, the number of patients rose to 500,865, after 6,514 more people were hospitalized with COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 5,190 patients are in critical condition, 404,727 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

18,592,292 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
