The casualties came when an attacker drove a military vehicle full of explosives onto an army commando base before detonating it, Ghazni governor spokesman Wahidullah Jumazada said.
The reinforcements dispatched to the area faced an ambush on their way to the brigade, he added.
There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the attacks. (ILKHA)
