Turkey reports 28,351 daily confirmed cases of COVID-19

Turkey has reported 168 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 12,840, the country’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the number of patients rose to 467,730, after 6,814 more people were hospitalized with COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 4,641 patients are in critical condition, 385,480 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

17,733,520 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
