Turkey reports 153 more deaths from coronavirus

Turkey has reported 153 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 12,511, the country’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, the number of patients rose to 453,535, after 6,713 more people were hospitalized with COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 4,409 patients are in critical condition, 377,891 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

17,406,742 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
