Turkey’s coronavirus death toll climbs to 12,358

Turkey has reported 139 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 12,358, the country’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

According to the statement, the number of patients rose to 446,822, after 6,017 more people were hospitalized with COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 4,217 patients are in critical condition, 374,637 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

17,245,617 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
