Russia reports the highest daily death toll from coronavirus

439 people have died from coronavirus over the last 24 hours in Russia, bringing the country’s death toll 32,032.

The number of confirmed cases has risen to 1,858,568, an increase of 21,608 deaths in the last 24 hours.

1,388,168 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.

Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but it is now the country with the fifth-most cases in the world, after the United States, Brazil, India and France.

The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.

Global death toll from coronavirus have reached 1,291,050, with 52,523,745 cases and 36,730,809 recoveries. (ILKHA)
