Turkey’s coronavirus death toll reaches 10,972

Turkey has reported 85 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 10,972, the country’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, the number of patients reached 396,831, an increase of 2,576 patients over the past 24 hours.

While at least 2,867 patients are in critical condition, 340,286 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

15,273,222 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
