Coronavirus in South Africa: The number of confirmed cases surpasses 737,200

20 more people have died due to the pandemic over the past 24 hours, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 19,809.

The number of infections has risen to 737,278, an increase of 1,372 cases in the last 24 hours.

4,980,440 tests have so far been conducted to detect the infections in the country.
