Coronavirus: Turkey reports 57 deaths, 1,671 new patients in the last 24 hours

Turkey has reported 57 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 9,014, the country’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said in a statement on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the number of patients reached 340,450, an increase of 1,671 patients over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,418 patients are in critical condition, 298,368 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

11,961,670 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
