Turkey: The number of deaths from coronavirus rises to 8,895

Turkey has reported 58 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 8,895, the country’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, the number of patients reached 337,147, an increase of 1,614 patients over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,417 patients are in critical condition, 295,658 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

11,731,350 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
