“The current situation worries me a lot. We don't know how things will develop over the next few weeks," said Lothar Wieler, head of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) for coronavirus cases in Germany.
"We got through the summer relatively well. Some claim that this shows that the virus is not so dangerous after all – this is a fallacy. Not so many people have died because we have taken action & adhered to it, “ Wieler added.
