South Africa’s death toll from coronavirus rises to 16,976

38 more people have died due to the pandemic over the past 24 hours, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 16,976.

The number of infections has risen to 681,289, an increase of 1,573 cases in the last 24 hours.

South Africa is the worst-hit country by the coronavirus on the African continent. (ILKHA)
