Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus reaches 8,325

Turkey has reported 63 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 8,325, the country’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Friday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 321,512, after 1,442 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,455 patients are in critical condition, 282,657 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

10,608,664 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
