Turkey reports 1,391 daily confirmed cases of COVID-19

65 more people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 8,195, the country’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 318,663, after 1,391 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,516 patients are in critical condition, 279,749 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

10,380,261 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
