Coronavirus: Turkey records 1,427 confirmed cases, 68 new deaths in the last 24 hours

68 more people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 8,130, the country’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 317,272, after 1,427 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,583 patients are in critical condition, 278,504 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

10,268,163 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
