Turkey reports 68 new deaths from coronavirus over the past 24 hours

Turkey has reported 68 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 7,574, the country’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 304,610, after 1,743 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,491 patients are in critical condition, 268,435 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

9,381,957 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
