According to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS), it was the third violent raid on prisoners’ cells since the death of their fellow inmate Dawoud al-Khatib in early September.
Dozens of prisoners have reportedly suffered different injuries after prison forces attacked them with pepper spray, clubs and police dogs.
The Ofer jailers also transferred many prisoners to other sections and locked up others in isolation cells.
The prisoners held in Ofer prison, located west of Ramallah, have been protesting for several days against the ill-treatment and medical neglect that resulted in the death of inmate Dawoud Khatib, 45. (ILKHA)
