The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

However, the countries began to ease measures against the coronavirus pandemic, which has been severely affecting the world economy.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 6,549,475 cases, followed by India with 4,465,863 cases, Brazil with 4,199,332 cases, Russia with 1,041,007 cases, Peru with 702,776 cases, Colombia with 686,856 cases, Mexico with 647,507 cases and South Africa with 642,431 cases.

A total of 20,106,316 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
