Coronavirus: Turkey reports 52 new deaths, 1,761 cases in the last 24 hours

Turkey has reported 52 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 6,782.

According to the country’s Health Minister, the number of confirmed cases rose to 283,270, after 1,761 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

While 1,159 patients are in critical condition, 253,245 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

7,994,029 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
