The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

However, the countries began to ease measures against the coronavirus pandemic, which has been severely affecting the world economy.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 6,389,057 cases, followed by Brazil with 4,091,801 cases, India with 4,023,179 cases, Russia with 1,015,105 cases, Peru with 676,848 cases, Colombia with 650,062 cases, South Africa with 635,078 cases and Mexico with 623,090 cases.

A total of 18,909,703 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
