Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus reaches 6,462

Turkey has reported 45 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 6,462.

In a pres conference, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca shared the latest official coronavirus figures in the country on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 268,660, after 1,596 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

While more than 1,000 patients are in critical condition, 244,408 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

7,045,085 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
