The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

However, the countries began to ease measures against the coronavirus pandemic, which has been severely affecting the world economy.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 6,048,317 cases, followed by Brazil with 3,764,493 cases, India with 3,387,500 cases, Russia with 975,576 cases, Peru with 621,997 cases, South Africa with 618,286 cases, Colombia with 582,022 cases and Mexico with 579,914 cases.

A total of 17,095,571 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
