Turkish troops arrested 21 PKK/YPG members in northern Syria, Turkey's Defense Ministry announced in a statement on Tuesday.

21 PKK/PYD members, who were detected to carry out terrorist activities aiming to disrupt the peace and secure environment, were arrested in Operation Olive Branch and Operation Peace Spring regions, the ministry said.

Operation Olive Branch and Operation Peace Spring were cross-border military operations conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces and Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (TFSA) in northwest Syria. (ILKHA)
