Kurdistan reports 3 new deaths from coronavirus in last 24 hours

3 more people have died of coronavirus pandemic in Kurdistan Region, bringing the number of deaths from the virus to 432 in the country.

The head physician Of Rizgari Hospital in Erbil Dr. Botan Abdulkadir said that 2 people died due to Covid-19 early Wednesday.

At the same time, one person died of coronavirus in Sulaymaniyah, said Azad Hewrami, director of Sheikh Tahir Ali Weli Beg Hospital.

The first case of COVID-19 infection in Iraqi Kurdistan was confirmed on the 1 March.

179,198 tests have been carried out to detect infections in the country.

Kurdistan has so far reported 11,361 confirmed coronavirus cases, with 432 deaths and 6,166 recoveries. (ILKHA)
