The U.S. has the highest death toll from coronavirus in the world, followed by Brazil with 78,817 deaths, the United Kingdom with 45,300 deaths and Mexico with 38,888 deaths.

3,840,821 people have until now tested positive for coronavirus in the country, an increase of 63,259 new cases in the past 24 hours.

Until now, at least 1,775,491 patients suffering from the pandemic have recovered and been discharged from hospital in the country. At least 47,641,714 tests have been carried out to detect coronavirus infections in the country.

New York, which is being hit the hardest by the novel coronavirus in the U.S, has so far reported more than 433,314 confirmed cases, with at least 32,552 deaths.
