The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

However, the countries began to ease measures against the coronavirus pandemic, which has been severely affecting the world economy.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 2,982,928 cases, followed by Brazil with 1,604,585 cases, India with 698,233 cases, Russia with 681,251 cases, Peru with 302,718 cases, Spain with 297,625 cases, Chile with 295,532, the United Kingdom with 285,416 cases, Mexico with 256,848 cases, Italy with 241,611 cases, Iran with 240,438 cases, Pakistan with 231,818 cases and Turkey with 205,758 cases.

A total of 6,538,541 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
